A Classic Red Rock Engagement

We met Heather and Jordan only a few short weeks ago when their original Arizona photographer was no longer able to capture their day in October. So many couples are persevering as the world performs a great balancing act, and we love being able to help those in need. Especially when they are as incredible as this pair! Although we understand the amount of stress it can cause a couple to make a change of vendor so close to their big day, we are so thankful everything worked out and we loved getting to know these two more!

One of our favorite things is when our couples turn their engagement photos into a getaway and these two did just that!  They were able to head up from Tucson earlier in the day and we met them at one of our favorite trails in Sedona! With a heavy amount of the traffic on the trail, we were able to use a few of our other favorite spots for a more quiet and secluded experience! The weather was incredible and their outfits were perfection. Heather looked like a Greek Goddess in her all white Lulu’s dress that made them perfectly pop off the stunning red rocks. We can’t wait to see what she looks like in her wedding dress!

It is apparent these two share a special relationship. Jordan was always chivalrous in helping Heather with her shoes, holding her hand as they walked along the trail to Cathedral Rock, ensuring her safety at all times. In return, Heather offered a playful smile and sweet kisses that would light up Jordan’s face! Watching these two is sort of like watching a love scene from any romantic Ryan Gosling movie (no, Blade Runner does not count). With such a beautiful Sedona backdrop, it was picture perfect. The moon rising early this time of year was also a welcome sight in the midst of the glowy sunset light! As we ended the session the light was fading quickly over the horizon and these two were off to enjoy a nice dinner looking like a million bucks!

Heather & Jordan, thank you for trusting us to capture such an incredible time in your lives.  We are so excited for your big day in a few weeks and look forward to meeting all the incredible people in your lives!
